What we do with Information
We may acquire and save the following information while running our system:
Upon opening an account, we require some necessary personal information—such as name, phone, email, and living address as well as address of business. Additionally, we have the ability to port over your existing email and contact history by granting us access to any required services.
Collection and Use of 3rd Party Personal Information
We may require you to provide additional data about other people, for example, their email. This data will only be utilized for the sole purpose of fulfilling your request or for whatever other reason it may have been provided in the first place. Should you have reason to believe that one of your contacts has given us any personal information regarding yourself and you would like to have it removed from our database, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
If you or another user in our system uploads a file that you or another user previously uploaded as well, we may attribute all or a component of the previous file with the applicable accounts rather than storing two versions of the same file.
We will store data we require to render our services on behalf of our clients and their data for as long as necessary to provide services. Under the circumstance that you desire to cancel your account or would like us to no longer use information that you have provided, you are able to delete your account. We still may store and use your data as would be necessary to comply with any legal obligations, for dispute resolution, for enforcement of our agreements and rights, or if it is technically impossible for us to remove it from our platform. In alignment with these requirements, we will try to the best of our ability to delete your information upon request. Additionally, we may retain data for extended amounts of time where there may be in place a legal obligation, contractual agreement, or a legitimate interest—unless these stated interests are overridden by the individual’s fundamental rights, in which case information will be removed once it is no longer required by these purposes. Furthermore, we do not grant access to, change, export, or delete, any data from our servers’ files where that right interferes with others’ rights.
Sharing of Information
Under no circumstances do we sell personal Information to any third parties. We have no direct relationship with the people whose personal data our platform uses. Anyone who wishes to change or delete data should contact the data controller who in this case is the client. If any client wishes to remove data, we will issue a response within 30 business days.
Amendments to User Data
If you provide us personal information about others, or if others give us your specific information, we will only use that information for the specific purposes for which they were initially provided to us for. We may need to acquire supplemental data about you from external sources, including publicly accessible information or third parties from whom we have acquired data, and combine this data with information we already have about you. This is necessary for us to be able to expand and optimize our inputs and identify new prospects.
As a user of our platform, we automatically collect data from any device you are using, its installed software, and your behaviour/activity on the above.
Usage of Restricted Scope Data
We use restricted scope data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent from the requesting app’s user interface.
Basix Concepts may transfer restricted scope data to others if (a) necessary to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent from the requesting app’s user interface, (b) to comply with applicable laws, or (c) a part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets of the developer.
Developers cannot allow humans to read restricted scope user data. For example, a developer with access to a user’s data is not allowed to have one of its employees read through a user’s emails. There are four limited exceptions to this rule: (a) the developer obtains a user’s consent to read specific messages (for example, for tech support), (b) it’s necessary for security purposes (for example, investigating abuse), (c) to comply with applicable laws, and (d) the developer aggregates and anonymizes the data and only uses it for internal operations (for example, reporting aggregate statistics in an internal dashboard).
